Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Server to join our team at Club 58 at Green Valley Country Club. As an experienced server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You'll bring your expertise in customer service, food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude to ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Key Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring orders are correct and presented professionally. Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs, such as refilling drinks or clearing plates. Handle special requests, dietary needs, and complaints with professionalism and care. Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and POS systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including resetting tables and assisting with side duties. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a food server in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including familiarity with menu items, wine pairings, and specials (preferred). Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for handling payments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years old (if serving alcohol, adjust based on local laws). Valid food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
