Core Values: Collaboration, Gratitude, Communication, Balance, Ownership Qualifications Job Summary The Outreach Advocate is responsible for providing support and services to victims of sex trafficking and exploitation. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide support services to sex trafficking survivors to include but not limited to legal, housing, medical, academic, employment, mental health, sex trade support groups, and transportation. Indirect services to document victim services information to the database. Provide support for law enforcement when a survivor is identified. Participate in the on-call schedule to answer calls on the intake line after hours and on weekends, and to be extra support for residential for duties such as transportation if needed. Attend trainings as requested by Outreach Coordinator. Other duties as assigned Education And/or Experience Bachelors Degree is preferred in Social Work, Criminology or Behavioral Sciences. Participate in continuing education standards that include a minimum of 8 hours of training per year in trauma, substance abuse and sex trafficking. Experience in licensed substance abuse treatment program, trauma informed care program, post-traumatic stress program OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience working with victims of sex trafficking is preferred. Experience in working effectively in cross-culture setting. Clean driving record, preferred. Spanish Speaking preferred.
