Position: Mental Health Therapist – Community-Based Services

What You’ll Do
• Deliver therapy and skill-building services to children, adults, and families in home and community settings
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely, high-quality documentation that meets agency standards
• Collaborate with supervisors, internal team members, and external providers
• Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
• Travel between client homes, community locations, and Fernbrook offices
• Represent and uphold Fernbrook’s mission, values, and commitment to ethical care
What You Bring
• A Master’s Degree in a Human Services field (or be in field placement toward LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP)
• Sound clinical judgment and a strong sense of ethical responsibility
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and navigate sensitive situations
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
• Openness to learning, feedback, and growth
• Basic computer literacy (or a willingness to learn new tools)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Must pass a criminal background check per DHS and agency guidelines
Bonus If You
• Have experience working with diverse client populations
• Are bilingual
• Hold an active Minnesota license (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP)
Position Details
• Full-time: 40 hours/week (some overtime may be required)
• Part-time: Up to 40 hours/week (overtime must be pre-approved)
• Travel required to homes, offices, and community settings
• Mix of in-person and remote work depending on role and availability
