DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will play a crucial role that ensures the safety and functionality of our buildings and structures by performing tasks in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and masonry work. You will perform journey-level work by exercising technical independence to determine work methods and procedures. You will also install electrical circuits, ballasts, and lighting as well as plumbing fixtures and drywall. This role requires organizational skills to complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as well as to finish assignments in an efficient manner. In addition, you will r emove snow from sidewalks and parking lots, maintain equipment, and o btain CPR certification and utilize those skills as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will be subject to emergency call-in.
• Overtime and travel as needed

• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785.00 (before taxes).

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 ( Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
• You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License .
