Household Sales Representative
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Selling Activity
- Make sales calls, home visits, and follow up to customers and prospects. Will be responsible
for proactively generating appointments with both customers and prospects.
- Sales calls will vary from cold call prospecting to formal sales presentations
- Sales calls will be made to both current and existing customers
- Work to make or exceed agreed upon sales targets set by GM
- Rep will search for new sales opportunities through networking and cold calling
- Rep will initiate and/or work with customer service representatives on sales calls
to new prospects with the purpose of generating new customers
- Rep will follow-up regularly and/or work with sales assistance on follow-up to all
active and prospective customers
- Rep will evaluate all revenue generating opportunities within a customer or prospect and make
proposals as appropriate
- Follow the Household sales process to successfully generate sales
- Respond within 48 hours on all requests for quotations received
- Follow up on all installed projects within 10 working days of installation with customers and
seek referrals from then.
- Potential of working with businesses on their drinking water needs in the future.
Become aware of commercial water treatment needs within area and refer any leads and contacts to
Owner.
Reporting
- Reports directly to General Manager
- Provides manager with required sales/tracking reports
Other
Completion of all other duties as identified and designated by the Owners.
