Custom Processing Services provides contract manufacturing/toll processing services to a wide variety of industries. Specialized processes center on particle size reduction using a number of methods including jaw crushing, pulverizing, micronizing and media milling. Additional services such as flash drying, surface treatments, blending, dispersing and packaging are also available. The Processing Pros provide new product development assistance from R&D concepts through their commercialization. In addition to CPS's technical grade facilities, a state-of-the art, dedicated building is available for cGMP processing.
Role Description
Join our fast-paced warehouse team! As an Inventory Material Mover, you'll be the backbone of our operation, ensuring efficient movement of materials. You'll receive, ship, and organize inventory using powered equipment, maintain accurate electronic records, and collaborate with the team to deliver top-quality products on time. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Shift: 9:00am-6:00pm
As An Inventory Material Mover, Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Receives incoming and ships outgoing materials, products, or supplies.
• Counts items received or shipped and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies.
• Prepares receiving or shipping paperwork and notes any shortages or damages.
• Accurately and timely completion of movements of raw materials, packaging and finished product both physically and within the electronic inventory system.
• Keep production stations stocked with raw materials and remove finished materials as produced and inspected.
• Maintain the organizational plan laid in within the warehouse and production floor.
• Inspect all finished packaged material in accordance to customer specifications.
• Prepare all orders for shipment per customer requirements.
• Follow all other Shipping and Receiving work instructions as trained.
• Operates powered equipment related to typical warehouse function as a primary part of job.
• Must have working knowledge of basic shipping / receiving activities.
• Communicate quality related issues with appropriate team members.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Previous experience with powered equipment in a warehouse environment (forklift, scissor lift, stretch wrap machine, etc.).
• Previous experience with electronic inventory systems.
• Self-starter – works effectively with limited supervision involvement.
• Multitasker – ability to intermix job tasks and not lose sight of overall schedule, as well as change direction with little to no notice.
