Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Easton, MD. Responsibilities:
• Payroll Specialist will process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and time-off requests
• Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments accurately
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies
• Enter and maintain payroll data in HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday)
• Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and timekeeping
• As a Payroll Specialist, you will prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate final reports
• Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 and 1099 distribution
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee data
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a similar role
• Experience working in ADP Workforce Now
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
