Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Line/Prep Cook to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323 .  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. The candidate for this position should be able to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday (including holidays). We are seeking someone one or more years of cooking experience at a level above fast food or fast casual.
This position will pay up to $20.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role.

Job Duties & Skills Required
What You Will Do
The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma/GED is required.
One (1) year of culinary experience is required.
