Responsibilities: Provide warm, professional customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff in a healthcare environment Accurately operate a POS system to process payments, including cash, credit, and hospital-issued cards Restock and organize merchandise, food items, or supplies to ensure shelves and stations remain fully stocked and orderly Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock deliveries Maintain accurate records of inventory usage and report low-stock items to management Assist customers with selecting appropriate products, including snacks, beverages, toiletries, or gifts for patients Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols required within a hospital or healthcare facility Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area to support infection control and guest comfort Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth, efficient service Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and staff Qualifications: Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare, hospitality, or retail environment Familiarity with operating a POS (Point-of-Sale) system and handling various forms of payment (cash, credit, hospital-issued cards, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients, visitors, and staff Knowledge of or willingness to learn healthcare-specific safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling transactions and managing inventory Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move light to moderate inventory items (up to 25 lbs) Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on facility needs Requirements: 10yr Criminal Background Check 12-panel Drug Screen TB Test AZ Food Handler Certificate Who Are We?
