Position Summary:
K–8 teachers at Candeo Schools are responsible for delivering a content-rich curriculum that fosters intellectual and moral virtue. Teachers are expected to create a structured, engaging classroom environment aligned with our classical education model. We welcome both experienced educators and professionals new to teaching who are eager to embrace our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum, Hillsdale K-12 curriculum, Singapore Math, and classical literature.
• Foster a classroom culture that emphasizes respect, effort, alacrity, civility, and heart (R.E.A.C.H.).
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
• Alignment with Candeo Schools’ classical education philosophy.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Core Knowledge, Singapore Math, and classical teaching methods.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Starting salary from $47,000 annually, increasing with experience and education.
