Job Description: RN – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC) for travel assignments. This role involves providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed.
Monitor residents’ vital signs, conditions, and overall well-being.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create care plans.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility and hygiene.
Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
Ensure proper documentation of medical records and care plans.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
Qualifications
Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a long-term care or geriatric nursing setting.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Skills: Strong patient care, wound care, and medication administration.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work extended shifts, and provide hands-on care.
Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
