Founded in 1958, Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI) is a privately held, employee-owned company with eleven corrugated manufacturing facilities and five sheet feeders. BCI provides an extensive range of corrugated packaging products, including custom-designed corrugated packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and point-of-sale packaging, along with fulfillment and logistics services. Our facilities are located across nine Southern and Midwestern states.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Account Executive, based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina. The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. Daily tasks include conducting market research, preparing sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with the production and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze sales data
• Experience in account management and customer service
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in the packaging industry is a plus
