JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Administrative support for the Department of Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Assist with purchases for the department and p-card orders. Order supplies on behalf of the department and create shipping labels as needed. Process requisitions and purchase orders on Clemson's purchasing platform. Assist with setting up new users in Clemson's purchasing platform. Receipt orders in Clemson's purchasing platform once products or services have been provided. Complete monthly p-card reports.
30% - Essential - Lab Manager for EEES in Brackett Hall Aid in laboratory maintenance and create lists of needs for each lab and disposal of unused chemicals. Stay up-to-date on regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards. Serve as point of contact for lab inspections, instrument maintenance and repair. Inventory laboratory equipment and order supplies as needed.
10% - Essential - Provide support for department seminars. Maintain department logs for approved drivers. Oversee the guest passes for the department and room reservation in Brackett Hall. Create desk assignments for EEES students in Brackett Hall.
5% - Essential - Update Graduate Student website with current student information. Update student defense schedule once received from the Graduate School. Ensure the Seminar schedule is up-to-date. Assist with the yearly awards ceremony.
5% - Non-Essential - Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent
RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standard Hours: 37.5
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range: ($ 27,510.00 - $ 42,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
