Writes and places advertisement postings.Manages Talent Relationship Management tool to leverage points of influence to candidates and customers.Maintains accurate and thorough records by tracking applicants, interview results, recruiting results, new hire date and wages. Enters data into Applicant Tracking Systems, as appropriate.Identifies and deploys digital advertising platforms to target talent in the marketplace.Analyzes information regarding turnover and hiring statistics. Creates planning reports and data tracking for the Region, Zone or Area and communicates information to the Talent Acquisition Managers and Operations Teams. Analyzes data and makes recommendations on ways to reduce turnover and enhance the Family Member experience.Contributes to continuous recruiting process improvement efforts, while ensuring accurate reporting and data for distribution and analysis on candidate flow, time-to-fill, etc.Reviews hiring needs with Talent Acquisition Managers, Directors of Operations, and Area Managers to verify individual area needs and projected staffing needs. Assists those individuals by supporting their succession planning goals and by assisting with both external and internal methods of recruitment.Attends meetings as needed including Semi Annual Business Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, GM Meetings, and Recurring Regional Calls to obtain staffing needs and provide briefings on the status/progress on high priority staffing needs to Operations Leadership team.Reviews, updates, and communicates available recruiting tools for use in Whataburger restaurants.Supports management and store level staffing goals on a consistent basis to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained throughout the region.Assists Operations in conducting training sessions with unit management on Interviewing and Selection, Taleo, and other various related items.Conducts surveys in the field to address any concerns over recruiting materials or methods used.Develops and maintains external cooperative relationships with corporate business partners that enable and support performance strategies and organizational effectiveness.Provides support and training to restaurant managers on how to legally and effectively source, screen, interview, select and retain individuals within their marketsAssumes additional responsibilities as assignedEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience requiredExperience:Experience in contributing to the management of projects is preferred4+ years’ of experience preferably in restaurant industryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio (as applicable)Proficiency in JD Edwards (as applicable)Ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workersAbility to work in a team environmentWorking knowledge of employment laws relating to employee relations and personnel administrationProfessional Certification: Professional in Human Resourced (PHR) or certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)Working Conditions/Travel Requirements: Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilitiesMust be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needsMust be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessaryMust be able to travel occasionally both locally and long distances (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locationsMust possess a valid driver’s license, submit to releasing a Motor Vehicle Record that adheres to the Whataburger standards and maintain current automobile liability at minimum levels in their state of residence3321 Lexington Rd Athens GA 30605
