Overview
HealthPRO Heritage is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This hybrid role based in Greenville, SC offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization in a flexible and collaborative environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, supporting the month-end close process, and maintaining the chart of accounts in GP (customer and vendor setup).
Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience , a solid understanding of GAAP, and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains .

Responsibilities
• Oversee and participate in all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations
• Analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making and identify trends or anomalies
• Lead preparation of internal and external financial reports
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Serve as accounting lead for new customer and vendor setup.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
• Understanding of Right to Use assets and lease accounting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains/Business Central (required)
• Experience with Virtual lease a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and deliver actionable insights
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
