Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a leading member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company. This role demands a strategic leader with deep experience in optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, ensuring exceptional customer/guest experiences, and driving profitability across our hospitality and agricultural endeavors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both industries and a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational functions, including [food and beverage, summer camps, holiday festivals, school trips, long term strategic planning, etc.]
• Develop and implement operational strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets.
• Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization, technology adoption, and performance management.
• Oversee the development and management of budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource allocation.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams across various departments.
• Enhance the customer/guest experience through the implementation of best practices in service delivery and quality control.
• Optimize supply chain management and logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for operational expansion and improvement..
• Provide regular reports on operational performance to the owners.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in operational roles, with significant experience in both the hospitality/restaurant management .
• Proven track record of driving operational success , improving efficiency, and achieving measurable results.
• Deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the hospitality industry (e.g., guest experience, revenue management, food and beverage operations, property management).
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience implementing and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with agritourism models, farm-to-table operations is very helpful.
• Experience in a high-growth environment.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 Employment Type: OTHER
