This is a critical behind-the-scenes role focused on strategic planning, timeline creation, and meticulous deadline management for all marketing activities, spanning both the dynamic world of social media and effective traditional marketing methods. You will ensure all marketing initiatives are aligned with our business goals and executed efficiently and effectively.
What You'll Do:
• Strategic Planning & Execution: • Develop and manage comprehensive annual and seasonal marketing strategies.
• Create detailed project timelines and assign responsibilities for all marketing initiatives.
• Diligently track progress and ensure all marketing deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Digital Marketing Management: • Oversee social media marketing: develop content calendars, coordinate content creation (written, visual, video), manage platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest), track performance, and implement growth strategies.
• Manage website content updates and ensure website functionality.
• Implement basic SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote events.
• Traditional Marketing Coordination: • Manage the creation and distribution of all traditional marketing content..
• Coordinate local advertising efforts (print, radio, community events).
• Performance & Reporting: • Track key marketing metrics and analyze campaign performance.
• Provide regular reports on progress and return on investment (ROI).
• Financial Oversight: • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Collaboration: • Work closely with internal teams (operations, events) and external vendors (social media contracts, graphic designers, printers).
• Industry Awareness: • Continuously research and stay informed about the latest trends in digital and traditional marketing within the agritourism sector.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a marketing role with increasing responsibility, preferably within the tourism, hospitality, or agricultural industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing detailed marketing timelines and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices.
• Experience with traditional marketing methods and their effective implementation.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Employment Type: OTHER
