Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to join our amazing team in order to support our tremendous growth and customer demand. The ideal candidate will be Using AutoCAD and Solid Works to design aluminum structures and products using our company’s design standards. Create new and templated engineered permit drawings for various aluminum jobs to be submitted to municipalities. Create layouts of aluminum enclosures by hand and using various programs. Have the ability to read and understand various architectural plans. Create drawings using AutoCAD. Participate in various design aspects throughout the company. Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Create Engineered Permit Drawings
· Complete Layout of projects
· Analyze plans and design cages based off design standards
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

· Reports directly to the CRA Engineer.

Additional Requirements:
• Must have strong work ethics
• Must be well organized and a self-starter
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelines
• Fluent in computer use and navigation.
• Basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of recent editions of AutoCAD
• Detail-oriented
Education and Experience:
• High School Graduate or equivalent Degree
• 2+ years of experience in CAD design and engineering
• Effective communication skills
