Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Financial Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading provider of service, engineering, and remanufacturing for electrical, mechanical, and power management systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Operations Finance team by analyzing financial data, identifying business trends, and providing strategic insights that drive performance. The Financial Analyst will contribute to key decision-making processes, budgeting, and reporting activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Operations Finance team to interpret and analyze financial data
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages and executive presentations
• Support the annual budgeting process in alignment with strategic and financial goals
• Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key performance drivers
• Conduct P&L reviews and highlight areas for operational improvement
• Contribute to CAPEX business case development for operations investments
• Provide routine and ad hoc financial reports to management
• Support process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting
• Lead and support special projects related to financial planning and business analysis
Requirements include:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Experience:
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in operations finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar role
• Experience in a manufacturing or services environment strongly preferred
Skills:
• Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L management
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and report generation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certifications:
• No certifications required, but CPA or CFA is a plus
Knowledge:
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience presenting financial data to senior management
• Understanding of CAPEX planning and business case evaluation
