Job Summary
Support the upkeep and repair of our facilities. The ideal candidate will assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely.
Essential Duties And Functions
• Inspects equipment and systems for preventive maintenance and/or repair.
• Listens to unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease gun.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Cleans and keeps indoor and outdoor areas of buildings and equipment.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning or renovation purposes.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, and other routine building maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs minor repairs on various pieces of equipment and facilities to ensure ongoing operations of a facility.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including organizing tools and materials.
• Monitor and report inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors or service providers when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with regulations and company policies.

Language Skills
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
Education, Experience & Training
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or handyman role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work off-hours or weekends if necessary.
