Job Description
The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring efficient patient check-in/check-out, verifying insurance and demographics, answering calls, and scheduling appointments. The role is part of a team of 12 staff members, including Medical Assistants, Care Coordinators, Nurses, and 4 Providers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Schedule appointments for patients.
• Ensure smooth coordination with care team members.
Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of receptionist experience required.
• Preferred Skills: Ability to multitask effectively in a busy practice environment.
Work Schedule:
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
