Sales Manager
Job Summary
Reporting to the Marketing & Sales Director, the Sales Manager is managing the people, processes, and programs of the Satellite Community sales office. This effort includes both implementing and monitoring measurable sales goals for calls, appointments, event attendance, deposits, settlements, occupancy levels and revenue generation for the community. The Sales Manager is responsible for communicating the sales and marketing goals to the VOTI sales team and emphasizing the importance of creating a positive customer experience that inspires prospects to want to move to the community.
Essential Functions

• Provides overall leadership, plan and directs all sales activities for the Satellite Community.
• Responsible for staffing, retention, development, training and performance management of staff.
• In conjunction with events planning staff, effectively develops and hosts events with prospective residents.
• Monitors competitor’s product, sales and marketing activities.
• Manages and ensures data management tracking system is optimized and current to help with lead management.
• Establishes, maintains relationships and communicates with industry influencers and key strategic partners throughout the expansion process.
• Prepares marketing activity reports for all appropriate parties.
• Represents and promotes Village On The Isle at various civic, association and trade meetings.
• Handles inquiries and meets with prospective residents and their advisors.
• Conducts scheduled and unscheduled tours of and presentations about Satellite Community.
• Monitors departmental budget and spending.
• Responsible to achieve the community sales and move-in goals by established deadlines.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is conducted primarily in a health care facility. There is possible exposure to communicable diseases and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV. This position frequently requires working within strict deadlines, under stressful conditions and with a variety of personalities, who may at times be emotional.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field, or equivalent number of years of experience required.
• Two to three years of leadership experience in a senior living or CCRC environment preferred.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills and previous sales experience required.
• Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with lead management database systems preferred.
