The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. The college benefits pets and their owners, food-producing animals, and wildlife by offering the highest quality hospital and diagnostic laboratory services. Equipped with the most technologically advanced facilities located on a university campus, the college is dedicated to safeguarding public health by studying emerging infectious diseases that affect both animal and human health.

Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
Assisting internal clientele in the Medical Records Reception office; placing, answering, and routing phone calls, emails and faxes in a timely manner; notifying service areas of patient arrival.

Processing records requests; attaching incoming documentation to patient records; pulling and organizing files for all service areas of the hospital in the absence of Medical Records Reception staff and during times with higher workload volume.

Scanning all active and archived charts for all patients of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and attaching scans to electronic records. Filling in for other medical records position when needed.
