Tooling Handler
General Summary
The Tooling Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing rotary die tooling. Additional responsibilities include data entry and reporting. Success in the position ensures that tooling is readily available for production equipment and inventory levels are properly maintained.
Responsibilities And Duties
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming dies
• Packs and ships dies that require resharpening
• Inspects and measures dies for defects and wear
• Prepares and stages dies for work orders
• Enters data into reporting program
• All employees have the responsibility and authority to report any action that puts any process or product at risk.
• Other duties as assigned
Essential Duties
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Must communicate and work well with others
• Must report to work on time, on a regular and consistent basis
• Must be able to stand for a full shift (8 – 12 hours), lift/push/pull 50+ pounds, and walk/stoop/kneel/bend/grasp objects with both hands frequently
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, hold visual acuity or corrective vision including close/distance/color vision.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to shift focus while maintaining attention on multiple tasks

Education/ Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in an industrial setting preferred
• Inventory control experience a plus
