Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service/Data Entry Specialist for a 6-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role supports both student services and administrative operations with a strong focus on accurate data entry and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Provide front-line customer service via phone, email, and in-person inquiries - Accurately input, update, and maintain student and administrative records - Troubleshoot and resolve basic inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to college data and privacy policies - Support various departments with clerical and administrative tasks as assigned - Ensure data integrity and timely reporting Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred - 1+ years of experience in customer service and/or data entry - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience in an educational or public service environment is a plus Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $15 – $18 per hour (based on experience)
