We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Liaison to market our hospice services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a liaison in a hospice setting and a strong understanding of the hospice philosophy, as well as the operations of hospice facilities. The candidate must be able to build relationships with referral sources, understand the specific needs of patients and families, and drive growth by effectively promoting our hospice services.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Market and Promote Hospice Services : Develop and implement strategies to promote our hospice care services to medical professionals, healthcare facilities, and the community.
• Build and Manage Relationships : Establish and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers to drive referrals to our hospice program.
• Identify Opportunities : Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospice market to increase patient census and referral sources.
• Understand Hospice Operations and Philosophy : Have in-depth knowledge of hospice care services, including eligibility criteria, patient care processes, and the hospice philosophy of providing compassionate care at the end of life.
• Community Outreach : Attend and participate in local community events and networking opportunities to raise awareness about hospice services.
• Collaboration : Work closely with hospice care teams to ensure smooth transitions of care for patients referred to the hospice program.
• Provide Education : Educate healthcare professionals and the community on hospice services, the benefits of hospice care, and the end-of-life care philosophy.
Required Skills Key Requirements: • Educations : Bachelor's degree or equivalentyears of training and work experience.
• Familiarity with Hospice Philosophy : Candidate must be familiar with the hospice philosophy, which emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care at the end of life, and have knowledge of hospice care processes, including interdisciplinary team roles and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with home healthcare services, referral sources, and payors.
• Strong Communication Skills : Must possess excellent communication skills to engage with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community organizations.
• Proven Track Record in Business Development: Demonstrated ability to develop and grow relationships within the healthcare industry, specifically in hospice care. Established relationships with referral sources and community leaders in the local healthcare market.
• Knowledge of Local Healthcare Landscape : Familiarity with the local healthcare system, referral sources, and the competitive landscape for hospice services is preferred.
