Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek in Goodyear is looking to add another Resident Services Coordinator to our team. Position is Sunday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm PURPOSE OF POSITION /SUMMARY The Resident Services Coordinator provides direct supervision for the care giving component of the assisted living community. Ensures residents are well-cared for in an environment that encourages independence and individuality while providing appropriate assistance. Treats all residents with dignity and respect while creating a home-like environment. Maintains resident records as required by Arizona State regulations and community policies; maintain/protect privacy and confidentiality of all resident information. Assist LPN and care staff as needed. Employees working in the Senior Living division may directly or indirectly be exposed to infectious diseases and/or biological hazards. Will perform other job duties, as assigned. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintains charts for assisted living services, including recording daily transactions, ADL’s or care for each resident. May require completion of incident reports or training materials to ensure compliance with State regulations. Participates in maintaining resident records including but not limited to monthly charting (per charting schedule), MAR review, medication cart review and chart maintenance. Supervisory functions that may include scheduling, documenting and reporting requirements associated with staffing. May provide assistance in hiring and training new staff. Participate in bi-weekly department head meetings. Resident Interaction - Daily interaction with residents. May involve personal care such as providing assistance with dressing, showering, toileting, checking vital signs and other activities for daily living (ADL). Meets new residents; participates in resident functions, as appropriate; may respond to resident emergencies or be contact person for emergency situations. Is first point of contact with new residents to establish weekly cleaning day, shower schedule, preferences for meals and laundry, etc. and to determine overall individual care (service) plan. Communicates with caregivers and supervisory staff at shift change to update status of residents ensuring continuity and quality of care. Order medication as needed according to established policies. Maintain appropriate medical/office supplies and update inventory as needed. Protect privacy and confidentiality of resident information. Conducts regular inspections of resident suites for issues regarding infection control, medication management and safety issues. Also reports these situations as needed to the appropriate department manager. Completes required in-service training including certifications per State regulations. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPUTER/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 3+ years experience in directed care services for older adults Current certification as assisted living caregiver in state of Arizona (Supervisory, personal and directed) Current CNA certification Current Fingerprint Card Adult CPR Certified TB Test - Annually First Aid Certified Basic Computer skills The Robson Companies has a well-established history of successful master-planned active adult communities and has expanded their residential projects to include senior living.
