Job Summary Production Assembly Operators build seats and seat components for vehicles. Production Assembly Operators cycle through an established rotation of tasks within a workday, switching tasks every two hours. Other functions include seat teardown, seat repair, and minor equipment maintenance and adjustments. Key Responsibilities of Production Assembly Operators Meet process, quality, and time requirements of each operation. Participate in quality teams as required for process improvement. Comply with Quality, Environmental, Shop Rules, Safety Rules, and Material Management System requirements. Report issues and improvements to support the overall build process. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Work safely by following all company policies, reporting all unsafe and unhealthy conditions, and reporting all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Employee Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Perform on-the-job training as required. Perform all tasks as per ODS and perform in station repairs as required. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 18 years or older Good physical condition and dexterity- must be able to lift 30 pounds.
