POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: The Development and Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the marketing and communications team, responsible for overseeing marketing, public relations, and development initiatives for Lindsborg Community Hospital (LCH) while working closely with the Salina Regional Health Center Director of Marketing and team to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance LCH’s visibility, managing social media platforms, creating content, and leading public relations efforts to drive engagement and business growth. As the hospital’s lead public relations officer in Lindsborg, the Coordinator will ensure that community needs and trends inform marketing strategies while also supporting internal communication initiatives. In addition to marketing, this position provides administrative and strategic oversight for LCH and the Healthcare Foundation's development programs, including planning and implementing fundraising initiatives to support hospital operations, capital expenditures, and unreimbursed costs. The Coordinator will cultivate donor relationships, explore new funding opportunities, and serve as a liaison between LCH and the Auxiliary, strengthening partnerships and volunteer engagement. A key aspect of the role includes organizing and coordinating promotional, educational, and public events in collaboration with hospital staff, community leaders, and the Foundation Board, ensuring successful execution and expanding outreach efforts. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for identifying potential risks and escalating concerns to administrators and directors as needed. A successful candidate will be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker with experience in marketing, public relations, fundraising, and community engagement, possessing strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to build relationships across diverse groups. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Associates degree in communications, marketing or related fields to support the essential functions required of this position.
