Position: Fire Watch Personnel Location: Sarasota, FL Pay: $23/hour Experience: Prior experience in fire watch, security, facility maintenance, or fire safety is preferred. Type: Full-time; Temporary Schedule: Day Shift or Night Shift HH Staffing is seeking a Fire Watch Personnel to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Assist in placing Fire & Life Safety systems on test and taking them offline. Coordinate with management, fire safety personnel, and emergency responders before disabling any fire protection system. Monitor buildings for any signs of fire, smoke, or hazardous conditions. Ensure all emergency exits and pathways remain clear and accessible. Conduct continuous fire watch patrols at designated intervals (e.g., every 15-30 minutes). Maintain a detailed fire watch log documenting patrol activities, observations, and corrective actions. Report any fire hazards or emergencies to building management and emergency responders. Assist with various maintenance or repairs. Position Requirements: Familiarity with fire safety procedures, impairment protocols, and emergency response measures. Ability to remain alert and focused during extended shifts. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to follow detailed procedures. Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
