Job Overview: BayView Dental Associates is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team. This essential role ensures that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to the highest safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities: Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment using proper techniques and procedures. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment monitoring. Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Assist the clinical team by preparing treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and supplies. Manage inventory of sterile supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and expiration dates are adhered to. Follow infection control protocols and OSHA, CDC, and ADA sterilization guidelines. Participate in training programs to stay current on best practices in sterilization and infection prevention. Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience in a dental or medical sterilization role preferred, but willing to train the right candidate . Strong understanding of infection control, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology and instruments is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork mindset. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
