Warehouse/Material Handler/Forklift - 1st shift We have an IMMEDIATE opening for a Warehouse/Material Handler with strong Forklift experience. This position is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals to join a good company for a temp-to-hire assignment. Must be reliable and confident on the Forklift (Forklift experience and certification is required). It's a 1st Shift position Monday-Friday with hours from 7:00am - 3:30pm (with a half hour Lunch). Pay Rate: $19.00/hour (PAID WEEKLY) RESPONSIBILITIES: Day to day : General warehouse responsibilities, sit down and stand up Basiloid (with proper training onsite), need to be ready to jump in and support wherever it is needed - whether its answering phones, helping customers, or unloading truck and cleaning warehouse. Communication skills are a must. Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Completes written and computerized documentation. Requires at least 1 year related experience. MUST have forklift certification. Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
