If you live to tackle new and exciting challenges within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, join our family of creative big-idea makers and experience what it means to live the life of the Boar.Job Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities Have an eye for design and be up-to-date with current packaging trends.Pre-press/Production skills are essential to be able to send out print ready filesImaging/Photoshopping images to be used on packageBe able to physical produce mockups as needed, through gluing, cutting, printing, folding and anything else required.Be able to manage timelines efficientlyWork with the creative team and marketing team to fully understand consumer and stakeholder desires, then conceptualize and execute creative on a range of products in the Boar’s Head Brand portfolio, showcasing the brand through innovative, beautiful and premium design.Be able to concept and produce multiple packaging projects from start to finish, working with vendors, printers, teammates and partners to ensure quality and consistency throughout our entire line of products.Extend conceptual ideas and build engagement with compelling design and marketing solutions that elevate Boar’s Head Brand’s marketing initiatives, establishing a strong understanding of its product lines and their positioning within the marketplace.Contribute new ideas and creative design solutions, utilize feedback to refine, then present work and ideas effectively to leadership team members. Conceptualize and execute original, innovative and beautiful package and label design.Organize and save all assets and art for proper storage, maintaining proper archival of all files using proper file management hierarchies.Prepare, prepress, proof and review documents for print.Making sure all our product imagery has the most current labeling on them and are updated as needed.Collaborate with creative team, sharing knowledge and creating an inviting and passionate environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.Have the ability to be flexible and help with any needs that may come up within our team or any Boar’s Head team.Manage timelines of label and packaging creationEducation and ExperienceStrong portfolio showing real creative and your design process2-3 or more years of professional progressively responsible experience in design/marketing field.Mastery of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe PhotoshopAbility to understand consumer insights across different product linesExpert knowledge of prepress for print productionPassion for beautiful imageryHard-working, self-motivated, well-organized, and resilient to changing timelines, requests and deliverablesObsession with organization and attention to detailPositive, resourceful attitude and excellent writing skillsA fundamental understanding of lighting, angles and photographyDegree in design or related field preferredLocation:Sarasota, FLTime Type:Full timeDepartment:Marketing and Advertising
