Job Responsibilities Independently performs general maintenance tasks and/or performs planning, managerial, & supervisory duties - as identified - regarding repairs, maintenance and construction.  Assists Campus Facilities Director w/ repair, maintenance & construction activities. Performs and directs activities related to repair, maintenance, & construction activities involving one or more trades (i.e., carpentry, electricity, welding, heating, venting & air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, boiler operation & energy plant operations). Maintains records, prepares reports regarding work activities, makes recommendations on repair, replacement & maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Minimum and Additional Requirements High school diploma and trades experience related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis for basis. Prefer an associate degree and two (2) years directly related work experience; or four (4) years directly related work experience. Must have a strong background in general maintenance skills.
Preferred Qualifications Prefer supervisory skills and facilities maintenance related certifications/licensure.
