Vaco is looking for a Tax Supervisor that has 4 to 8 years of corporate tax experience for one of their top clients who is a high-volume specialty distributor.  Any tax experience in public accounting would be a plus but not required.  In this role you will assist with inventory, COGS, and real estate related tax assessments.  This person will also be tasked with managing the tax-exempt reporting and filing processes related to various programs the company is utilizing and plans to utilize.   This person will be on a specialized tax team that will create, implement, and monitor controls for the shipping, distribution, warehousing, for the retail, ecommerce, and multi-state warehousing sales tax process.
This person will assist with federal and state tax returns, tax related audit matters, and monitor tax implications of company related purchases.  The person in this role will be very hands with tax credit research and preparing monthly income tax provisions and quarterly tax projections.  There will also be varying levels of involvement with income, sales, use, payroll, real estate, and disputable tax matters for the company and its subsidiaries.
