Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage and schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate with dental professionals and support staff to create a well-organized and effective appointment calendar.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Communicate treatment plans, appointment details, and any necessary pre-visit instructions to patients clearly and compassionately.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients and assist in processing insurance claims.
• Provide support in explaining billing procedures and financial obligations to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information by managing the registration process.
• Maintain electronic health records and other relevant documentation in compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
• Assist in general office tasks, including maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area, managing office supplies, and supporting other administrative functions as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive and efficient work environment, contributing to the overall success of the dental practice.
• Address patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally, working to find satisfactory resolutions.
• Act as an advocate for patients within the dental practice, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated and considered in the delivery of care.
REQUIREMENTS :
• 1+ year Dental industry experience required
• Must possess an above average phone demeanor.
• Must be a great listener.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must have a passion for helping others.
