Job Opportunity: Commercial Paint Estimator

Key Responsibilities
• Project Assessment: Visit project sites to gather information and details, ensuring accurate estimates.
• Cost Estimation: Calculate the quantity of materials required, including types and amounts of paint, primer, and other supplies.
• Labor and Time Calculation: Estimate the time and labor costs required to complete the project.
• Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present detailed and accurate cost estimates to clients or contractors.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Market Analysis: Keep up-to-date with market trends and new materials to ensure competitive pricing.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of estimates provided, contracts negotiated, and materials ordered.
Qualifications
• Proven work experience as a Painting Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of painting materials, techniques, and costs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant estimation software.
