Kitting and Staging Technician (Manufacturing)
Summary
Kit Staging Technicians are responsible for the organization and storage of parts, components or assemblies for washline kitting/staging kept in inventory including keeping accurate bin counts through regular cycle count procedures, and ensuring expired materials are removed from inventory immediately upon expiration.
Responsibilities
• Provide their internal customers with correct products and services, on-time.
• Create, communicate, and accomplish daily department schedules.
• Keep WOs and associated documentation with each part throughout the manufacturing process and providing documentation to their internal customer.
• Retain part traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
• Keep Cetec order location data current and correct.
• Full and complete understanding HWI pertinent to duty and all other pertinent HCOA Operation Procedures or Work Instructions.
• Responsible for ensuring materials are picked accurately and in a timely manner.
• Plans and monitors picking activities based on MRP and Cetec reports showing work order start dates.
• Notifies production of any parts required to complete partial kits and follows up as necessary.
• Ensure work areas are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Experience in kitting and staging parts (i.e. gathering all necessary components for a specific task or job into a kit and then storing them in a designated location, ready for use, to streamline processes and reduce delays) preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Physical Demands / ADA Compliance
The employee may be required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Correctable vision to 20/20 with full depth perception. Ability to pass DOT Drug Testing requirements (49 CFR Part 40). Regularly required to push, pull, bend and apply pressure using hand tools and operate machinery.
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm. Monday through Friday. Onsite only.
PAY: $20-21 an hour, dependent upon experience
Background and Drug test required.
