Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager for our award winning Hilton Garden Inn Salina, located in Salina, KS. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with company standards, monitor guest satisfaction, and manage staff performance. Responsibilities include coordinating with different departments, maintaining budgets, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring the highest level of service. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual capable of leading and motivating a diverse team to achieve hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
• Management and Leadership: Experience in managing teams, providing training, and developing staff members
• Operational Skills: Proficiency in overseeing hotel operations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company standards
• Customer Service: Strong focus on guest satisfaction, ability to handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues effectively
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
• Marketing and Sales: Knowledge of implementing marketing strategies and driving sales initiatives
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with hospitality management software and systems
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high attention to detail
• Relevant Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred
