Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in order pulling, shipping, returns, inventory management/awareness, and general warehouse tidiness. As you become familiar and proficient with these tasks, we will train you on receiving, invoicing, customer service phone support, and general order management. We are a growing eCommerce company and the ability to wear multiple hats, work efficiently on your feet, and stay committed to our processes is a must.
Task, Responsibilities And Accountabilities
• Complete tasks such as sorting, picking, stocking, staging, packing and shipping of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or trucks. Forklift driving skills are a plus, but we can train those that are interested.
• Maintain awareness of inventory and notify buyers when inventory runs low
• Pick & Pack carefully and responsibly. We must be sure that the customer receives the correct parts and quantities on their initial shipment.
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, excess cardboard boxes, unneeded products, etc.).
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Keep an open mind, be flexible and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, and noise, which may be a moderate risk of accident or illness.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
