KNect365 US, Inc. (d/b/a Informa Connect) seeks Human Resources Business Partner (Sarasota, FL)
Job Duties:
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to execute on strategy, improve organizational performance and develop organizational capability for assigned international client areas (Life Sciences and Fan Expo). Coach, advise, and be an active member in developing the business strategic plans for teams with global exposure in North America, UK, and Germany. Partner with business leaders, HR colleagues, and dedicated centers of excellence within Informa global on performance management, employee relations, engagement, learning and development, organizational change, and compensation strategy. Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through organizational structure, partnering with senior leaders on development through to delivery. Manage the implementation of regional initiatives including growth plans and reductions in force or reorganizations. Partner with senior leaders and M&A team to develop people plans, conduct due diligence, and identify impact and opportunities with existing teams and structures. Ensure business compliance within the legal labor and employment environment. Act as the primary point of contact for all colleague questions and day-to-day assistance, partnering with HR Service Delivery and other COEs as needed. Advise business leaders and colleagues by applying HR and business knowledge, including talent mapping, colleague development needs, and performance management.
Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance of worksite.
Position Requirements : Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field, and 8 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or Administrator; or, in the alternative, no degree and 10 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or Administrator.
Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
• 7 years of experience ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment law including Canadian provincial Employment Standards Act and U.S. federal and state labor laws and workers’ protection acts including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Equal Pay Act of 1963.
• 8 years of experience developing internal HR policies for issues such as time off and leave of absence, payroll and benefits administration, promotions and transfers, and employee handbook, and developing procedures to drive a high-performance culture and mitigate risk, including implementing automation technology.
• 8 years of experience creating and implementing employee performance plans and employee rewards programs.
• 8 years of experience conducting workplace investigations and providing appropriate recommendations related to disciplinary action, grievances, absences, and redundancy.
• 8 years of experience addressing and resolving employee related issues concerning performance management, improvement plans, documentation and communication strategy, and case resolution follow-up.
• 8 years of experience leveraging data trends to initiate action plans related to learning, career development, and talent management.
• 7 years of experience developing initiatives that align culture and values with organizational strategy.
• 7 years of experience implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement with senior management including developing recognition programs; developing action plans for improvements based on employee survey results; conducting stay interviews; implementing mentorship programs; defining clear progression career path and developmental plans; and creating employee resource platforms for easy access to chats and information, talent review, succession planning, and reward planning.
