Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Safety: Accurately review and interpret medication orders, ensuring proper dosage, therapeutic goals, and identifying potential interactions. Customer Service Excellence: Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and answer healthcare-related questions with empathy and expertise. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations, federal and state laws, and Ivira Health protocols. Workflow Efficiency: Assist with daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription verification, and quality control. Team Support: Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and ensuring accuracy in prescription fulfillment. Qualifications: Active Florida Pharmacist License (in good standing) Preferred: 1+ year of experience in retail, clinical, or hospital pharmacy Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) Clear DEA record (not on the Excluded Parties List) No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances Preferred Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Reliable, professional, and committed to patient care Why Join Ivira Health?
