Rytech Restoration of the Upstate is continuously growing and aggressively looking to hire a Water/Fire Disaster Restoration Technician Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities: Set up, monitor, and move equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premises. Removal of water and mold-damaged building materials. Treatment and removal of mold growth. Perform activities including demolition, cleaning, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage remediation, cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning & pack out, and other specialized cleaning. Willing to work a flexible schedule and participate in a rotational on-call schedule. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner such as work authorization, drawing diagrams, charts, photos, monitoring records, etc. Requirements: Customer-oriented, outgoing, personable, professional appearance. Some experience in the disaster restoration industry is a plus! Crawlspace experience is a plus! Experience in Water/Fire Mitigation and Mold Remediation is a PLUS (6 months +). Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in confined spaces. Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as we are an emergency 24/7 Disaster Relief Company. MICA software experience is a PLUS. Benefits: 401(k) matching. Dental insurance.
