Automation Technician Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Geer, SC is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team! Automation Technician Job Summary: Pay: Starting at $32.00 hourly + Direct Hire 7:45pm – 8:00am (3 on, 2 off-2 on, 3 off) As a Technician, Automation, you will be responsible for maintaining and providing technical support for automated and semi-automated manufacturing solutions, particularly for high-volume consumer product applications. Key responsibilities include machinery and equipment maintenance, participation in the preventive maintenance program, problem-solving, and ensuring a quality-focused approach. Automation Technician Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Over 5 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment, involving complex manufacturing and automation equipment. Proficiency in PLC’s and electrical controls. Strong understanding of mechanical and design aspects of automation, including machining capabilities. In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electrical/electronic components related to manufacturing equipment.
