Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including commercial and industrial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations. The Journeyperson Electrician will work on various projects, including renovations and new installations, utilizing hand tools and equipment to deliver high-quality workmanship. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local electrical codes during all work performed. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovation projects efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficient in working as a commercial electrician with experience in industrial settings. Knowledgeable in low voltage and high voltage systems. Strong understanding of electrical principles, including the ability to read schematics. Skilled in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment effectively. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
