Are you looking for a growth opportunity?  Come be a part of an exciting start up with an established global organization!Walter USA in Greer, South Carolina, is looking for a Coating Operator in our state-of the art air-conditioned facility.   What will I be doing?Perform manufacturing processes in our Coating Department                                                                                                                                                                                               Obtaining working materials and placing such materials in appropriate in-process or finished product storage areas, including changing out of gas cylinders.Monitoring and troubleshooting of coating processes via computerized control systems and manual equipment, and monitoring of gas and water supply systems.  Perform manual adjustments on computerized control system as necessary, as instructed by engineering/management.Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and PM activities on furnace components, including use of cranes and forklifts.Visually inspect material and processed work for ocular defects such as fallout, flaking, and edge chips using microscopes as required. This is a flexible role and supports the entire order to delivery processes across multiple departments.Your Profile:2-3 years’ experience working in a mechanical or process industry preferred.High School Diploma or GED equivalentBenefits we offer:Excellent 401(k) plan offering company match of ½ up to 3% PLUS 5% company contribution every paycheck.
