Role and Responsibilities
Mechanically incline to have been trained on all Final Valve machines to run efficiently.
Must be able to operate all Final Valve machines efficiently to ensure a high-quality finished product
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
Required Skills and Key Responsibilities:
• Safety and Housekeeping
• Perform Visual inspections
• Be familiar with each machine and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occurs
• Gauges for Crimp Heights, Stem Heights, Crimp diameter and Dip tub retention verification
• Ensure that parts are feeding into the machines correctly
• Operate Scanners
• Loading the hoppers and dip tub reels
• Labeling and stacking finished production on skids
• Change overs
• Verify specifications of part being assembled (BOM)
• Checking and setting the part counter
• Constantly inspect parts for defects
• Complete production paperwork
• Ensure safe work procedures are practiced
• Keep machines and work areas clean
• All other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Maintaining concentration while working in a noisy environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Read and understand written instructions and follow oral instructions
