Role and Responsibilities
As a Material Handler you will provide support to all the Molding Departments and keep products stocked for operators
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• High School diploma or G.E.D desired
Required Skills and Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning machines, grinders, Mc Guires, Conveyors and completing line clearance.
• Assist in making boxes
• Perform color changes by mixing plastic pellets
• Retrieve and return colorant to colorant racks
• Sifting on nylon regrind and organization of the area
• Keep work areas and assigned machines clean throughout shift
• Scan and move finished product to Warehouse
• Clean material room and all material filters
• Have an understanding of material routing from overhead system and maintain the material flow
• Work as a team member, Create a partnership with operators and technicians
• Have understanding of regrind numbers and grind areas
• Scan finished product and stack on the pallets
• Have knowledge of materials and what molds and machine they run in.
• Must be able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances as they arise
• Must label all material correctly when ground and cover, understanding of material color codes
• Check schedule daily, Use regrinds whenever possible
• If required, assist with hand mixes and material samples
• Must have basic math skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be able to work in safe manner and follow safety rules
