TRIO UB/UBMS provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their pre-college performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Applicants are required to have a combination of academic skills and personal qualities, which assist program students with meeting established goals and objectives. The person in this position will be providing important supervision to a select group of high school students.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position
Minimum - Upper level academically successful college student (at least 45 credits earned) Knowledge of either Foreign Language, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, English or Math Interest in working with adolescents. Interpersonal skills, sensitivity to the needs of the disadvantaged, and commitment to the goals of Upward Bound
