Capital Markets Operations Specialis
We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Capital Markets Operations Specialist in Greenville, SC! This role is pivotal in overseeing the implementation of capital markets projects and driving process improvements across all treasury functions.
The Capital Markets Operations Specialist will support all aspects of capital markets activities, with a strong focus on asset-backed securitization, structured finance, and investor relations. Additionally, the position will help shape the treasury technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and processes.
This is a hybrid position in Greenville, SC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily cash operations across multiple entities, including advances, repayments, and borrowing under the company’s credit facilities.
• Manage cash waterfall reporting and funding processes to support structured finance initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for operational treasury functions.
• Lead standardization, automation, and process improvements across capital markets operations.
• Ensure the company’s operational systems and procedures align with current and future loan performance and financial reporting needs.
• Work closely with internal teams to integrate liquidity and capital planning and provide analytical support for new product strategies.
• Drive the execution of large-scale treasury and securitization projects.
• Support the evaluation of the loan portfolio, including managing quarterly and annual compliance/reporting processes.
• Prepare liquidity forecasts and maintain investor reporting frameworks.
• Act as the primary liaison for funding and contract exception resolutions.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and business analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or capital markets functions.
• Strong knowledge of structured finance, securitization, and investor reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities, implement changes, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
